Welcome to the History of Pegasus Bay Drag Racing
This is an ongoing page to show the history of people who helped make this club by supporting it over the years in watching, racing and running the events.
As the years go on I will continue to up date pages and add photos, of course some not be up to magazine quality but often these were done by pocket cameras of the day.

Thankyou to the Tolhurst team who have spent a considerable amount of time scanning old photos to turning them into digital format, I then spent my time splitting them, enhancing and resizing them for these pages.

Please if you have any photos you want to add to the pages then please either send me a digital copy or the actual photos so I can scan and if wanted return to you.

I myself am only a recent participant at the club and have been a regular since around 2004, previous to that have an extremely fond memory of coming over from Westport to watch the LA Hooker and the Pheonix do battle in the late 70's. I was wowed by others including the wheel lifting antics of a certain T-Bucket by the name of Devil Woman. Can any of you add any stories to this section as I would like to add these in an un edited form so if you are sending them in please make sure they are fit for the general public :)

These pages are a tribute to everyone who has ever been involved with this strip, this includes everything from officials, helpers, pit crew, spectators, cars, bikes, trucks, Jetcars and Comp cars.

Thanks
Graham

In case some of you didn't know Kevin McInroe then I have this little bit of History!
